No, each child must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times.

Is merchandise available?

Yes, there will be a variety of souvenirs and toys available to buy at the show with a range of prices. Items are still to be decided, but we will have more information closer to the time!

Can I pick where I sit?

All theatres let you see a seating plan as you book your tickets. You’ll see this once you’ve chosen a time and date for your preferred venue. If you’d like more information on the seating or where your seats will be then you can pop us an email at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Is there access for wheelchairs and children who can't leave their buggies?

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices vary depending on the venue you choose and where you want to sit in the theatre. Ticket prices will vary up to £23.50.

Is it suitable for very young children?

No child is too young - most children in the audience are aged 0-4. Parents tell us that children of all ages enjoy the show. Are there discounts for children?

There are lower-priced Child tickets available at every venue. The age range and prices for these tickets varies depending on the venue you choose. When selecting your tickets, a drop-down option will appear for you to select the Child ticket option. Please make sure you select the correct ticket type before completing your purchase.

Does my child need a ticket?

What is an Adult ticket?

These are tickets for people over the age of 16 years old. Every adult who comes to see the show needs an Adult ticket.

How do I get to the show?

When tickets go on sale, you’ll find the address and a map for your chosen venue on our website. If you need any other help with travel information then do feel free to get in touch with us at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Are there family tickets available?

No – we don’t offer family tickets, but lower-priced child tickets are available when you select your seats.

Does my baby need a ticket?

What are the different ticket types?

There are Adult tickets and lower-priced Child tickets available at every venue. The age range and prices for these tickets varies depending on the venue you choose. When selecting your tickets, a drop-down option will appear for you to select the Child ticket option. Please make sure you select the correct ticket type before completing your purchase. Some venues also require that you have a ticket for your baby. Please drop us an email to helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com if you’re bringing a baby below the Child ticket age range and we will help you with this.

Are there any booking fees?

There are no hidden fees. Any booking fees are included in the ticket prices you can see on our website, and will be clearly identified on the checkout page.

How will I receive my tickets?

There are different ways for you to receive your tickets depending on the venue that you choose. The available ticket delivery options might include e-ticket (for you to print at home), by post or collect at the venue.

Do I need to print my e-ticket?

You should receive an email shortly after booking with a link to download your e-ticket. You must print out the tickets before you come to see the show.

What should I do if I haven't received my e-ticket?

Your e-ticket should be emailed to you within 24 hours of placing your order. If you haven't received your e-ticket and you've checked your junk and spam folders, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123 - lines are open 9am - 6pm (weekdays) and 9am - 5pm (weekends and bank holidays).

Can someone else collect the tickets or attend the show instead of me?

Some venues might need you to give the person picking the tickets up a letter to confirm that this is OK. Please drop us an email at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Can I exchange my tickets for a different performance?

We know that plans can quickly change when you have a young family, so we’ll always try our best to help if you need to exchange your tickets to another performance. Every venue has a different exchange policy, so to find out if we can help you, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123. We’re available from 9am-6pm Mon-Fri and 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays.

Can I have a refund for my tickets?

No, tickets are not refundable. If you can no longer attend your booked performance, we’ll do our best to help you if we can. Every venue has a different exchange policy, so to find out if we can help you, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123. We’re available from 9am-6pm Mon-Fri and 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays.

How can I ensure my tickets are from a genuine agent and that my purchase will go well?

We are members of STAR (Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers). Buying from STAR members guarantees certain things. STAR members undertake to:

- Clearly identify the face value of any tickets purchased and any additional booking fees

- Highlight any terms and conditions, including transferability, cancellation and viewing restrictions

- Handle bookings in a polite and courteous manner, giving the highest standards of professional service

- STAR represents most of the major ticket agents and numerous venue box offices around the UK.

- Membership of STAR can be recognised by the use of the STAR kitemark and a list of members is available at www.star.org.uk or by phoning the STAR helpline (0844 879 4272). I'm running late, what should I do?

If you’re running late, please make your way to the venue and they will do their best to help if they can. Unfortunately our customer service team can't do much on the day, unless you're lost and need help finding the venue!

How do I register for the Presale?

To register for the Presale, you just need to fill out the form at www.nightgardenlive.com with your name, email address and postcode. If you are one of the first 30,000 people to register and also give us your full UK address, you’ll receive a beautiful In the Night Garden Live poster and colouring sheet too!

How are the characters recreated?

Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka are all recreated by both human size costume characters and puppets.

Will there be narration and music?

Yes, the show includes music and songs from the TV show, with the voice of the TV narrator, Sir Derek Jacobi.

Can I take photos during the show?

It’s fine to take photos during the show, but please switch the flash off on phones and cameras. Flashes can be very distracting to the performers and other audience members. If you’re not sure how to do this, please take a few moments to check before you leave home.

Is it possible for a birthday announcement to be made on stage for my child?

No, the characters do not speak in the same way that we do, so it is not possible for them to say happy birthday to a member of the audience.

Is it possible for my child to meet a character after the show?

No, unfortunately it is not possible to meet a character after the show.

How much does it cost to call your 03 telephone numbers?

Whether you call from your mobile or fixed landline, calls to any of our 03 telephone numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number. Calls to 03 numbers count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. I've had my item more than 7 days but now it's broken. Can I return it?

Yes, in some circumstances we can offer you a replacement. Please email us at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com with your order number and we'll do what we can to help.

If the item you want is out of stock, please email helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we'll do our best to give you a date for when we'll have more available.

Why isn't In the Night Garden Live visiting my city?

We want as many families as possible to be able to see the show, so we’ll be visiting 40 theatres all over the UK in 2019. There are still venues to be announced so your local theatre might still be added to the list. To be the first to hear when we announce new venues, sign up to our mailing list at https://www.nightgardenlive.com/sign-up We’re sorry if we’re not coming to a theatre nearer you. If you want to send your feedback, please contact helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com or contact your local theatre to tell them you’d love to have us there!

What is the show about?

It will be a completely new show for the very first In the Night Garden Live UK theatre tour, with a brand new In the Night Garden Live story starring all your favourite characters. We’ll publish a new trailer and reveal more details about the new story before 16 Oct when tickets first go on sale.

Are there plans for In the Night Garden Live to tour to countries outside the UK?

We don't yet have any confirmed plans to take In the Night Garden Live outside of the UK, but if you sign up to our mailing list (click "Sign Up" at the top of this page), you'll be the first to hear if this changes!

How do I sign up for your newsletter?

How can you help poorly children see the show?

We will do everything we can to make sure that a child's medical condition doesn't prevent them from experiencing In the Night Garden Live. Please get in touch with us at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com. If you would like financial assistance for a poorly child to see the show, we ask that you contact the Make a Wish Foundation: http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/ When you refer a child to them (http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/wishes/how-do-i-refer-a-child/), please write 'In the Night Garden Live' at the top of the form.

Do you send items abroad?

No, unfortunately we’re not able to deliver items outside the UK at the moment.

Who will deliver my merchandise order?

Items are dispatched on the next working day after you have placed your order by Royal Mail second class post.

I’ve changed my mind – can I return my items?

If you change your mind and contact us within 14 days of delivery, you are entitled to a refund. Items must be returned to us unopened in their original packaging within 14 days of cancellation. Please email helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we’ll help you with this.

What will happen if I’m not at home when my order is delivered?

Royal Mail will usually post a card through your door if you aren’t in when they try to deliver your parcel. This card will tell you when they’ll try to deliver again, or where you can collect your parcel from if this isn’t possible.

Where's my merchandise order?

If you haven’t received your items after 7 days of placing your order online, please email helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com with your order number and we’ll look into it for you.

Do you have to send my merchandise order to my billing address?

Yes, we can only send your order to your billing address (the address your payment card is registered to).

How long will it take for my merchandise order to arrive?

Your merchandise order should arrive within 5 days of the dispatch date. Dispatch normally happens the next working day after you place your order online.

How much does delivery cost?

P&P on all orders from our online shop costs £3.95. Your items will be dispatched on the next working day after you place your order, by Royal Mail second class post.

Are there carer or personal assistant tickets available?

As In the Night Garden Live is visiting lots of different theatres, it will depend on where you are visiting us. Please drop us an email to helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Can I make changes to my booking details after the booking has been completed?

If you need to change details on your booking, please contact our customer services team at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com. Please note we cannot refund tickets once they have been booked.

I already have an account, do I need to register?

Yes, you will need to register again to access this year's Advent calendar.

During the registration process you will be reminded if you already have an account with us, and you will then be able to access your calendar using your email address and password.

To make sure we can get your gifts to you as easily as possible you will need to update your address and phone number.

When do tickets go on sale to the general public?

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9am on Wednesday 17 October. If you want to book your tickets before everyone else, register for our 24 hour Presale at www.nightgardenlive.com by 1pm on 5 Oct.

I have chosen to “Collect from the venue”, where and when do I collect my tickets?

Please collect your tickets in person at the venue's ticket office up to 45 minutes prior to the event. This is the same address where the show will take place. Please note that some venues do not print the tickets earlier than the date of the show. If you have any questions, please contact our customer services team at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com To pick up your tickets, you may need to show:

- A valid photo ID, driver's license or passport.

- The credit card you used to purchase the tickets.

- Your booking reference number.

I already have an account with nightgardenlive.com, do I need to register for the Presale?

You still need to register for the Presale, even if you’ve previously had an account or booked tickets with us. Please visit www.nightgardenlive.com to register before 1pm on 5 Oct to be able to book tickets on 16 October.

What’s in the Presale gift pack?

If you’re one of the first 30,000 people to register for the Presale, you’ll receive a beautiful In the Night Garden Live poster and colouring sheet. We’ll post it out to the UK home address that you enter when registering.

When will I receive my Presale gift pack?

You should receive your gift pack within about 2 weeks of registering for the Presale.

When will I receive my Presale booking link?

We will send you an email / SMS with your Presale booking link on the morning of Tuesday 16 October. You’ll receive it by 9am, when booking opens!

When and where can I see In the Night Garden Live?

In 2019, In the Night Garden Live will be visiting 40 venues all over the country, in the show’s first ever UK theatre tour.

What time does the performance start?

Performance times vary depending on the date and venue you are visiting. Normally performances are on at 10am, 1pm or 4pm, but please check our website and your tickets carefully!

When does the Presale start?

The Presale starts at 9am on Tuesday 16 October. To book tickets in the Presale you need to register at www.nightgardenlive.com before 1pm on 5 Oct. We’ll send you a presale booking link by email / SMS on 16 October.

How long is the show?

The show is still in development but we expect it to be just under an hour long.

Are all the main characters in the show?

Yes. Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka all appear live in the show.
