I already have an account, do I need to register?

Yes, you will need to register again to access this year's Advent calendar.

To make sure we can get your gifts to you as easily as possible you will need to update your address and phone number.

During the registration process you will be reminded if you already have registered this year and you will then be able to access your calendar using your email address and mobile number.

A login link will be sent to one of them that you can click on to see the Calendar.

How does the Advent calendar work?

Our special online Advent calendar features 24 days of In the Night Garden Live fun and games, with a new animation, video or game to discover each and every day - plus the chance to win some amazing gifts!

Once you've registered you'll be able to access your online Advent calendar from the 1 December - simply log in with and click on a door to find out who's hiding behind it.

If the door is greyed out it's not available just yet, and the new door each day is marked with a star.

Opening each day's new door between 6am and 6pm gives you have a chance to win one of our exciting gifts - one of 24 giant soft toys!

I won a gift! How do I claim it?

If you win a giant soft toy then one of our team will get in touch, using the contact details you have provided.

Can I win more than one gift?

There are 24 giant In the Night Garden character soft toys to be won this Advent. Free gift draw entries are limited to one entry per day per household. If you are allocated a free gift, you are eligible to win another available gift during the remaining Advent Calendar period. Keep playing every day to enjoy the Advent calendar and for the best chance of winning!

I’m having trouble accessing the Advent calendar. How do I sign in?

From 1 Dec, you will be able to access your free online Advent calendar and start opening the doors. If you’ve been logged out, you can request a magic link here: https://adventcalendar.familytickets.com/advent-calendar/sign-in

All you need to do is enter the email address that you registered with. Please do check your junk or spam if you can’t find this in your inbox.

You can also enter your mobile number and we’ll send an SMS with your magic link. Please note your magic link will expire within 24 hours, but you can request a new link at any time.

Once you have received the magic link, you will have access to all of the doors up to the current date. If you keep the calendar open on your browser, you will not need to sign in again, and you'll be able to go back to the calendar tomorrow and open the next door. However, if you do get logged out, you can request a new link to sign back in at any time!

How can I sign up for the Advent calendar?

You can sign up for your free online Advent calendar from Wed 20 Nov and the first door will be available to open on 1 Dec. Don’t worry if you miss some of the days - you can sign up throughout December and you’ll still get access to all the content from previous days. For your chance to win a gift, open today’s door between 6am and 6pm.

I can’t see anything when I open some of the doors to my online Advent calendar. What should I do?

We’re sorry that you’re having some trouble viewing the content behind some of the doors. Although we try our best to ensure the Advent calendar can be used by as many families as possible, there can be compatibility problems with some browsers and some devices.

If possible, please try using a different computer, mobile or tablet to view the calendar. It can also help to change your browser to a different one, for example, Google Chrome, which tends to work well for most people.

I’ve won a giant soft toy - how do I claim it?

If you’ve won a giant soft toy in the In the Night Garden Live online Advent calendar, someone from our customer support team will get in touch with you on the next working day to help you claim your gift. You can also contact us at helpdesk@familytickets.com as soon as you see the pop-up message that you’ve won. You’ll get to choose between a giant Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy or Makka Pakka soft toy (subject to availability). Your soft toy will be dispatched on the next working day after you claim it and should arrive within 2-3 working days!

Please note if you win a soft toy on Thurs 24 Dec, you will be contacted on Mon 4 Jan by someone from our support team.

I’ve won a giant soft toy - when will it arrive?

If you’ve won a giant soft toy in the In the Night Garden Live online Advent calendar and claimed it from our customer support team, then it will be dispatched the next working day by Royal Mail 2nd class post. This normally takes 2-3 working days to arrive, but there can be delays to Royal Mail’s services during the busy Christmas period. If you haven’t received your gift after 7 days from claiming it, please contact us and we’ll do what we can to help! 

Please be aware that our offices and contact centre will be closed from Fri 25 Dec 2020 to Sun 3 Jan 2020 inclusive. A member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Will my free gift arrive in time for Christmas?

We use third party delivery companies including Royal Mail, so although we’ll do everything we can to send your gift to you as quickly as possible, we sadly cannot guarantee that your free gift will arrive in time for Christmas.

If you’ve claimed a free gift between 1 - 17 Dec, your gift should be dispatched before Royal Mail’s recommended last posting date for Christmas. So there’s a good chance it should arrive in time for Christmas Day.

If you’ve claimed a free gift between 18 - 20 Dec, it is likely to arrive after Christmas Day. If you’ve claimed a free gift between 21 - 24 Dec, then it is likely to arrive after Christmas Day or in the New Year.

My address details have changed since I registered for the Advent calendar. Can I change them?

Once you’ve registered, it’s not possible for you to change your personal details on the Advent calendar. If you need to change your address, please email helpdesk@familytickets.com and someone from our friendly support team will help you.

If you’ve already claimed a gift, it may not be possible for us to change the address that it will be delivered to, but please get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to help!

How long can I use the Advent calendar for?

Every day from 1 Dec - 24 Dec there’s a new door to open on your Advent calendar, and gifts will be awarded between the hours of 6am and 6pm. We expect that the Advent calendar content will remain online until 8 January 2021 for you to continue enjoying the videos, activities and animations with your little one.

I live outside the UK - can I use the Advent calendar and win a gift?

Unfortunately the Advent calendar is only open to UK residents; you must have a UK address and UK mobile number to sign up. We’re also only able to ship free gifts to UK addresses. If you live outside the UK and would still like to enjoy the Advent calendar, please contact our support team to send your feedback (helpdesk@familytickets.com) and we’ll do what we can to help.
