No, each child must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times.

Yes, there will be a variety of souvenirs and toys available to buy at the show with a range of prices. Items are still to be decided, but we will have more information closer to the time!

Is there access for wheelchairs and children who can't leave their buggies?

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices vary depending on the venue you choose and where you want to sit in the theatre. Ticket prices will vary up to £25.22.

Is it suitable for very young children?

No child is too young - most children in the audience are aged 0-4. Parents tell us that children of all ages enjoy the show. Are there discounts for children?

Some venues have lower-priced child tickets available. Some venues have flat pricing for adults and children. The age range and prices for these tickets varies depending on the venue you choose.

When selecting your tickets, a drop-down option will appear for you to select the child ticket option if there's one available for your venue. Please make sure you select the correct ticket type before completing your purchase.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, your child will need a ticket. The age range and prices for child tickets varies depending on the venue you choose. When selecting your tickets, a drop-down option will appear for you to select the child ticket option if there's one available. Some venues will have flat pricing for both adults and children.

What is an Adult ticket?

These are tickets for people over the age of 16 years old. Every adult who comes to see the show needs an Adult ticket.

Are there family tickets available?

No – we don’t offer family tickets. Some venues have lower-priced child tickets available. Some venues have flat pricing for adults and children.

Does my baby need a ticket?

As In the Night Garden Live is visiting lots of different theatres, it will depend on where you are visiting us. Please drop us an email to helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Are there any booking fees?

There are no hidden fees. Any booking fees are included in the ticket prices you can see on our website, and will be clearly identified on the checkout page.

How will I receive my tickets?

There are different ways for you to receive your tickets depending on the venue that you choose. For most venues, tickets will be issued as an e-ticket (for you to print or display on your phone). There may be some venues where you'll need to collect your tickets at the box office on the day.

Do I need to print my e-ticket?

You should receive an email shortly after booking with a link to download your e-ticket. You can either print off your e-ticket or display it on your mobile device to the staff at the venue.

What should I do if I haven't received my e-ticket?

Your e-ticket should be emailed to you within 24 hours of placing your order. If you haven't received your e-ticket and you've checked your junk and spam folders, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123 - lines are open 10am - 4pm Monday to Sunday. You can also email helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com

Can I exchange my tickets for a different performance?

We know that plans can quickly change when you have a young family, so we’ll always try our best to help if you need to exchange your tickets to another performance. Every venue has a different exchange policy, so to find out if we can help you, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123. We’re available from 10am-4pm Mon-Sun. 

Can I have a refund for my tickets?

No, tickets are not refundable. If you can no longer attend your booked performance, we’ll do our best to help you if we can. Every venue has a different exchange policy, so to find out if we can help you, please call our customer service team on 0330 1200 123. We’re available from 10am - 4pm Mon-Sun.

I'm running late, what should I do?

If you’re running late, please make your way to the venue and they will do their best to help if they can. Unfortunately our customer service team can't do much on the day, unless you're lost and need help finding the venue!

How are the characters recreated?

Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka are all recreated by both human size costume characters and puppets.

Will there be narration and music?

Yes, the show includes music and songs from the TV show, with the voice of the TV narrator, Sir Derek Jacobi.

Can I take photos during the show?

It’s fine to take photos during the show, but please switch the flash off on phones and cameras. Flashes can be very distracting to the performers and other audience members. If you’re not sure how to do this, please take a few moments to check before you leave home.

Is it possible for a birthday announcement to be made on stage for my child?

No, the characters do not speak in the same way that we do, so it is not possible for them to say happy birthday to a member of the audience.

Is it possible for my child to meet a character after the show?

No, unfortunately it is not possible to meet a character after the show.

How much does it cost to call your 03 telephone numbers?

Whether you call from your mobile or fixed landline, calls to any of our 03 telephone numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number. Calls to 03 numbers count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. Why isn't In the Night Garden Live visiting my city?

We want as many families as possible to be able to see the show, so we’ll be visiting 28 venues all over the UK in 2024, you can find our full tour list here.

Are there plans for In the Night Garden Live to tour to countries outside the UK?

We don't yet have any confirmed plans to take In the Night Garden Live outside of the UK, but if you sign up to our mailing list (click "Sign Up" at the top of this page), you'll be the first to hear if this changes!

How can you help poorly children see the show?

We will do everything we can to make sure that a child's medical condition doesn't prevent them from experiencing In the Night Garden Live. Please get in touch with us at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com. If you would like financial assistance for a poorly child to see the show, we ask that you contact the Make a Wish Foundation: http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/ When you refer a child to them (http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/wishes/how-do-i-refer-a-child/), please write 'In the Night Garden Live' at the top of the form.

When do tickets go on sale to the general public?

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9am on Friday 2nd February. If you've registered for the presale, you'll get early access from Wednesday 31st January. We'll send your time slot and discount code on Sunday 28th January and booking link on Monday 29th January.

I already have an account, do I need to register for the Advent calendar?

Yes, you will need to register again to access this year's Advent calendar.

To make sure we can get your gifts to you as easily as possible you will need to register with your current address and phone number.

To access your Advent calendar from 1 Dec, you can request a magic link to quickly login, by entering the email address or mobile number you registered with.

When and where can I see In the Night Garden Live?

In 2024 In the Night Garden Live will be visiting 28 venues all over the country. 

You can see our full list of venues here.

What time does the performance start?

Performance times vary depending on the date and venue you are visiting. Normally performances are on at 10am, 1pm or 4pm, but please check our website and your tickets carefully!

What is the show about?

Igglepiggle’s Busy Day is where Igglepiggle looks for his friends and follows their funny sounds until he finds them all. All the main characters appear in the show. 

 

How long is the show?

The show is still in development but we expect it to be just under an hour long.

Are all the main characters in the show?

Yes. Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka all appear live in the show.

Can I pick where I sit?

All theatres let you see a seating plan as you book your tickets. You’ll see this once you’ve chosen a time and date for your preferred venue. If you’d like more information on the seating or where your seats will be then you can pop us an email at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com and we will do our best to help out.

Can I make changes to my booking details after the booking has been completed?

If you need to change details on your booking, please contact our customer services team at helpdesk@nightgardenlive.com. Please note we cannot refund tickets once they have been booked.

How can I ensure my tickets are from a genuine agent and that my purchase will go well?

We are members of STAR (Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers). Buying from STAR members guarantees certain things. STAR members undertake to:

- Clearly identify the face value of any tickets purchased and any additional booking fees

- Highlight any terms and conditions, including transferability, cancellation and viewing restrictions

- Handle bookings in a polite and courteous manner, giving the highest standards of professional service

- STAR represents most of the major ticket agents and numerous venue box offices around the UK.

- Membership of STAR can be recognised by the use of the STAR kitemark and a list of members is available at www.star.org.uk or by phoning the STAR helpline (0844 879 4272). What are the different ticket types?

I’m having trouble accessing the Advent calendar. How do I sign in?

From 01 Dec, you will be able to access your free online Advent calendar and start opening the doors. If you’ve been logged out, you can request a magic link here.

All you need to do is enter the email address you registered with. Please do check your junk or spam if you can’t find this in your inbox.

You can also enter your mobile number and we’ll send an SMS with your magic link. Please note your magic link will expire within 24 hours, but you can request a new link at any time.

Once you have received the magic link, you will have access to all of the doors up to the current date. If you keep the calendar open on your browser, you will not need to sign in again, and you'll be able to go back to the calendar tomorrow and open the next door. However, if you do get logged out, you can request a new link to sign back in at any time!

If possible, please try using a different computer, mobile or tablet to view the calendar. It can also help to change your browser to a different one, for example, Google Chrome, which tends to work well for most people.

I’ve won a picture book – When will it arrive?

If you’ve won a picture book in the In the Night Garden Live online Advent calendar and claimed it, then it will be dispatched within 10 working days by Royal Mail 2nd class post. This normally takes 10 working days to arrive, but there can be delays to Royal Mail’s services during the busy Christmas period. If you haven’t received your gift after 20 days from claiming it, please contact us and we’ll do what we can to help!

Please be aware that our offices and contact centre will be closed on the bank holidays over the Christmas period. A member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Will my free gift arrive in time for Christmas?

We use third party delivery companies including Royal Mail, so although we’ll do everything we can to send your gift to you as quickly as possible, we sadly cannot guarantee that your free gift will arrive in time for Christmas.

If you’ve claimed a free gift between 1 - 15 Dec, your gift should be dispatched before Royal Mail’s recommended last posting date for Christmas. So there’s a good chance it should arrive in time for Christmas Day.

If you’ve claimed a free gift between 16 - 24 Dec, it is likely to arrive after Christmas Day or in the New Year.

How long can I use the Advent calendar for?

Every day from 1 Dec - 24 Dec there’s a new door to open on your Advent calendar, and gifts will be awarded between the hours of 6am and 6pm. We expect that the Advent calendar content will remain online until 05 Jan 2024 for you to continue enjoying the videos, activities and animations with your little one.

Unfortunately the Advent calendar is only open to UK residents; you must have a UK address and UK mobile number to sign up. We’re also only able to ship free gifts to UK addresses.

How do I contact you?

How do I use my gift card on the Family Tickets website?

You can apply your gift card number in the box at the checkout stage of your purchase. Make sure that you are not using express pay or the fast pay option as this will prevent the box from appearing. If you need any further help, please get in touch and we will be happy to provide further assistance.

What happens if I'm, or a member of my group is, affected by coronavirus when I'm meant to see In the Night Garden Live during the 2024 tour?

If you have coronavirus symptoms, have tested positive for coronavirus, need to self-isolate or quarantine let us know before the start time of your performance and we will refund your full order, including booking fees.

When will I receive my Presale booking link?

If you've registered for the In the Night Garden Live Presale, we will send you an email with your presale discount code on Sunday 28th January and the booking link on Monday 29th January.

When does the presale start?

The In the Night Garden Live presale starts at 9am on Wednesday 31st January to registered users only. If you've registered, you will receive a time slot and unique discount code on Sun 28th Jan and your booking link on Monday 29th January by email.
