This summer the world’s only In the Night Garden Live Showdome is coming to Richmond Old Deer Park from 17 June to 5 July - for two weeks only!
The Showdome is in the Old Deer Park, next to Pools on the Park on Twickenham Road. The Old Deer Park is situated on Twickenham Road (A316), which bypasses Richmond town centre. Please read on for more reasons to visit us in Richmond!
Getting there by car
For Sat Nav users, the postcode TW9 2SF should get you close to the Old Deer Park. Parking is available on the opposite side of Twickenham Road to the Showdome, at the Old Deer Park pay & display car park. For information on parking charges please visit the Richmond Council website.
The A136 is a very busy road, so please use the footbridge or the traffic lights towards Richmond town centre to safely cross and get to the Showdome. The footbridge has a number of shallow steps, so for flat level access please use the traffic light crossing. It will take between 5-10 minutes (at buggy pace) to get from the car park to the Showdome, so please leave enough time.
Getting there by bus
The 490 bus from Richmond Station stops at Pools on the Park, and it is then a 5 minute walk (at buggy pace) to the Showdome.
Getting there by rail or tube
There are frequent trains to Richmond Rail Station from London Waterloo. Alternatively, take an underground train on the District line to Richmond Station. From the station, it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Showdome at buggy pace.
Make a day of it
Richmond has lots of historic attractions and beautiful parks and open spaces. Nearby Richmond Park is a National Nature Reserve, where you can look out for the resident herds of red and fallow deer. After the show, you could visit the playgrounds and enjoy a picnic in the park whilst watching the deer.
Other family friendly attractions in Richmond are the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, Hampton Court Palace and the National Wetlands Centre.
When can I see the Ninky Nonk Show or the Pinky Ponk Show?
