My 2 year old son Mac absolutley loved the show. We had standard seats which were to be honest no different to the premium seats. Like others, I thought the tickets were quite expensive to begin with but once there, the staff are lovely, the dome is exciting for little people ( an adventrure), they receive a little book upon entry to keep them busy whilst waiting for the show to start and then when the story begins and the characters appear on stage your childs face makes it completely worth the money! The mix of life size and puppet size characters works really well and we will definately be visiting again next year with our currently 6 month old and i can't wait - its magical. I would reccomend pre-ordering the goody bag because all the kids have them and its better value if you order on line...

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole Night Garden experience. From the entrance to the exit, it was quick, slick and friendly. We didn't have to wait too long for the show to begin and it was magical to say the least, our 2 year old thought it was fabulous. We had pre-ordered the goody bag which was not only very good value for money, but kept her entertained throughout the show and beyond. Also, a toy was exchanged with no complaints, even though she had dropped and broke it. I also was pleasantly surprised with the "blatant merchandising" I had read in previous reviews. It really wasn't a problem at all and it was very easy to walk past the concession stall at the end. Would recommend to anyone to attend, it was well worth our trip from the North East and an overnight stay.

We seriously believe that the promoters of this event are completely 'out of order' by
charging £6.50 entrance fee for an 11 day old baby. Our granddaughter aged 17 months
very much enjoyed the experience but the 11 day old still does not have the ability to see.
How can the promoters justify this charge - it should be immediately reviewed and refunds made for any child under 6 months. Exploitation immediately comes into mind when an organisation makes a charge of this nature. PLEASE REVIEW

First : find it hard to beleive that people are moaning about puppets and not full size at all times, this is to show children ,the play of their own figures.
Show was superb, faultless waiting nothing compared to other attractions.
Will be going again. value for money and staff friendly was a plus, staff even helping lady that had locked her child in car.
to give this event a bad report, you must have other issues in life.

A amazing show my 2 year old daughter loved it and i was so exited lik a litel girl .

Loved the set up of the show, had that magical feeling as you aproch the dome and our two year old son (who's birthday it was on the day went) was very excited! The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldnt do enough for you! It seemed that everything had been considered and geared up for children of all ages!
We had decided to purchase the premium tickets so we would have a good view, this was unnecessary as the seating was set out so that everybody had a clear view! Before the show started the ceileing was lit up and kept the children entertained while waiting. As the show began with puppet size characters our son was very intrigued, unfortunate this changed as the life sized characters appeared on stage. He was absolutely petrified and was shekeing with fear! (had we of realised how close to the front we would be and how big the charectors were we would of sat near the back). So not to prolong his fear and upset him further we decided to leave having only seen 10 minuets of the show! We were very disappointed as it was a birthday gift that was not cheep and wanted him to enjoy every minuit
I would take him to another show but wait maybe 6 months to a year when he is a bit older and defornatly have tickets for near the back!
Would still recommend to other people but bare in mind our points if your child is a little timid. -
like many others at first i thought it was a bit on the expensive side, but to see my grandaughters face was priceless she loved every minute of it and even cried when it finished. but to see her excited face and concentration was amazing and brought a tear to my eyes. it was wonderful and she enjoyed every minute of it. anyone thinking it too expensive, well to see the kids faces was absolutely priceless. well worth it.

We had a magical day. Our 20month old daughter loved every minute especially meeting upsy daisy at the end. to watch her face as the characters came on stage was priceless.
A fantastic family day out. would highly recommend to everyone with little ones who watch the tv show or read the books. -
Absolutely fantastic show that we all enjoyed, I was a bit apprehensive beforehand as I didnt think my 18 month old little girl would sit still for the whole thing (she usually can't sit still for more than 5 minutes!) and she has never been to watch a show before so I didn't know how she would react but she enjoyed it so much and was better behaved than ever! When she wasn't sitting still and watching she was stood up and dancing! She also learnt a brand new word whilst at the show which she has definitely never said before, which is "wow" and she can't stop saying it since so I think that about sums it up :) thank you for an amazing experience and if you are returning next year then we will be there. Best wishes,
Sarah & little Ellie xx -
When I was looking at how much the show was I thought it was expensive and wondered whether it was worth going or not. I went ahead and booked it for my 20 month old, I was not disappointed. It was worth every penny, my son loved every minute of it and sat for the full hour watching it in awe. The show was fantastic, the puppeteers were great and the projections were great. I booked the standard seats and again I was concerned that he may not see it properly, however, we could see brilliantly and I don't think there would be any seat that you would not be able to see.
I will be definately going again next year.

Brilliant show, this was the second time we have been with our now 2 year old daughter and she danced and danced and never took her eyes of the show. However was disappointed with the meet a character, our little girl loved it but it was so rushed and seemed over so quickly, was a manic photo session, one picture would have been enough and then some time for our daughter to say hello, felt member of staff rushed us in and out.

When booking i thought it was expensive and worried whether my 23mnth old grandson would sit still or be scared by the characters in 'real life' size. No need for such worries at all. The directions were brilliant, the venue was brilliant, the staff were brilliant, the show was fantastic and my grandson's face was priceless. I booked premium seats because my grandson is only small and was worried about him being able to see properly. Again, no need for any worries as the show dome is designed perfectly so that everyone can see where ever they sit. The goody bag was well worth the money . We didn't book to meet a character until we saw how he reacted to them in the show so only booked at the end of the show expecting to have to wait a long time, but no. In no time at all it was our turn.
Wonderful, well-organised event. Well done to all. We will definatley be back next year. -
An amazing show! I took my daughter who is nearly 2 and a half and to see her face light up when she saw the characters come on stage was magical! The length of the show was brilliant and meeting upsy daisy and the end just made her visit complete. I think the puppeteers were fab and did a superb job. I would take my daughter again for sure.

So sorry to write such a negative post but this was rediculious! We spent £77.50 for two adults and a child for 50 minutes, 10 of which we were made to stand waiting on the tickets from the "box office" which we paid an extra £5 for the convince of!!
The show was nothing to write home about and would expect much more for the money. I will not be recommending this event to any friends or family. Very disappointed.

Amazing!!! I took my 4yr old and 2yr old boys and they loved it, my 4yr old was just beaming from beginning to end. So well organised in every way. We met Igglepiggle and it was well worth it!! Even my wary 2yr old gave him a big kiss. Thank you for some very special memories x

i'd taken my son last year when he was 3, so i knew he'd love it again, as he had last year. but i honestly didn't think my 2 year old daughter would sit through the whole performance. not only she did, but she absolutely loved it, kept screaming and laughing all through. our seats were standard, but the view was great no matter where you sit.
when the show was over, we waited to meet upsey daisy, who was lovely. my two couldn't stop hugging and kissing her! those pictures are priceless.
while we were waiting to see upsey daisy, the kids could sit and do some colouring which was a great help. my son broke his windmill on the tabble, so a member of staff replaced it, absoultely free of charge, which was great. you could tell they were prepared to do anything to make our experience as enjoyable as possible, and it really was. we'll definitely come again next year. thank you "in the night garden". -
1) The length of the show (which was an hour or just less) was just right - any longer the little ones wouold have been bored and any shorter would have been missing out
2) The lights with pinky ponk on ceiling were good and kept kids entertained
3) There were 3 persons dressed in green with little puppets of the characters throughout the show playing with the puppets, which is rediculous and spoilt the show. You expect to see the larger proper size characters all the way throughout the show (which do appear on stage sporadically) but there is no need for the people playing with the puppets. The show would have been better if the shows director ditches the people completely so that you can see the larger size characters from start to finish.
4) The seating is good and even small kids can see the show wherever they sat even if there is an adult in front of them.
5) Marks out of ten for me is 4/10 but if the show got rid of the people playing with the 15" puppets and recaed them with life size characters I would have given the show a 10/10 rating.
6) You child will enjoy the show anyway (mine did as he sang the theme song all the way home) but your little one may get restless in the times when the life size characters are not on stage (as mine did)
7) The directions on the flyer could have been better maybe with a picture showing the outside of the venue as we didnt know there was an outside stadium until we asked for directions and originally went into the trafford centre. There should be better directions on the website with pics.

Absolutely brilliant! Our 17 month old sat still for the full hour mesmerised by the fantastic show! Waving, clapping and blowing kisses, it was amazing to see him enjoy himself so much!

A truly fabulous experience, complete value you money and something my little girl won't forget for a long time. In particular meeting the characters afterwards, was a real treat and the pictures were great. Would really recommend it anyone with children who enjoy In the night garden, as it definately surpasses expectations.

Me & my mum took my 15month son old and my 4 year old daughter. They loved it, my 4 year old was stood dancing & clapping, my little boy who was toddling about and climbing the steps right up until it started, sat on my knee in awe for the whole show, clapping and waving whenever a character left the stage. I would say do not get premium seats, we didn't and you don't need them, its not very big and you probably get a better view sat a few rows back anyway. You are better spending the extra money on the meet a character! We met Upsy Daisy, my daughter just kept hugging her. My son was scared so she did a little dance for him! they take a few pictures and you can choose your favourite in a lovely souvenir frame. They also let you take your own photographs which is great for all the happy memories!
